Mineral-Based Locomotive Engine Oil

Formulated with refined mineral base oil and conventional additive packages. It offers high cost performance and meets basic lubrication requirements for low-load, short-duty-cycle operation. Suitable for conventional shunting locomotives and low-load short-distance locomotives, it is an entry-grade locomotive engine oil.

 Semi-Synthetic Locomotive Engine Oil

Blended with mineral base oils and synthetic hydrocarbon base oils, with an upgraded additive system. It features better oxidation stability and anti-wear performance than mineral-based grades, with an oil drain interval of up to 10,000 hours. Suitable for mainline freight and passenger locomotives, it is the mainstream product widely used in the railway industry.

Fully Synthetic Locomotive Engine Oil

Produced with PAO (poly-alpha-olefin) or ester-type fully synthetic base oils, combined with high-performance additive systems. It provides ultra-long oxidation stability, excellent wide-temperature performance and ashless anti-wear properties, with an oil drain interval of up to 15,000 hours. Ideal for high-power AC drive heavy-duty locomotives, locomotives operating in extreme cold or high-temperature environments, and high-end imported locomotives.

Railway Locomotive Engine Oil – Bilingual Technical Parameter Comparison Table

This table integrates core technical parameters of railway locomotive engine oil, designed for foreign trade communication and product selection. All parameters comply with international standards (API) and Chinese railway industry standards (TB/T 2544-2020, GB/T 3141), suitable for high-power, heavy-duty and imported locomotives.
